Hi, I'm McKenzie.
I've always believed the best photographs aren't the perfectly posed ones... they're the ones that make you feel something. The quiet glances, the genuine laughter, the happy tears, and the little in-between moments you didn't even realize were happening.
Photography allows me to preserve those memories for the people who matter most to me: my clients. My style is warm and inspired by the beauty of everyday life. I love soft light, genuine connection, and creating images that feel just as beautiful years from now as they do today.
Whether I'm documenting your wedding day, your growing family, your graduation, your business, or simply this season of life, my goal is always the same, to create a space where you can relax, be yourself, and walk away with photographs that truly feel like you.

The Heart Behind the Camera
I grew up in the charming river town of Red Wing, Minnesota, but these days you'll find me in Rochester, where I moved to be closer to my two nephews. Being nearby to watch them grow up has been one of my greatest joys.
Outside of work, I'm happiest doing the simple things. I'm almost always in the middle of a good book, convincing myself I need to start another craft (despite the fact that I already have far too many hobbies), or heading to the gym. If there's a new creative hobby to try, chances are I've already bought the supplies for it.
I'm a homebody at heart. I love slow evenings cuddled up with my cat Evelyn, movie nights, and playing video games with my wonderful boyfriend. Some of my favorite days are the ones spent catching up with my best friends over coffee, wandering local shops, or simply enjoying each other's company.
I believe life is made up of little moments that often end up meaning the most. The unplanned laughs, the traditions you never want to outgrow, and the people who make you feel at home. Those are the moments I try to appreciate every day, and I'm so grateful they've brought you here.
